Services

Chimney Services

Some of the chimney services we provide

Chimney Sweeping

Not only does regular sweeping keep your home safe, but it also improves efficiency. A clean chimney helps smoke escape easily from your fireplace or stove. This means that when you light a fire, you get more heat with less hassle! You won’t have to worry about smoke filling up your living room or having to burn extra wood just to stay warm. Plus, who doesn’t love snuggling up next to a roaring fire without any worries?

Chimney Insulation

Chiswick Chimneys are now offering an insulation service for any unused fireplaces you have. On average an unused and un insulated fire place is costing around £70 per year in lost heat. I use a non flammable and non itchy insulation that i fit just above the fire so is out of sight. To insulate a standard fire is £50 so this easily pays for its self in the 1st year alone. This will also help prevent bad smells and debris falling down but will still allow your flue to breath.

CCTV Inspections

By using CCTV camera technology, we can spot issues like creosote buildup or structural damage without the guesswork. Imagine being able to see exactly what’s happening in your chimney from the comfort of your couch! It gives peace of mind knowing that everything is in tip-top shape. A full certificate can be issued on completion.

I used Neil at Chiswick Chimneys to sweep the chimney for my multifuel stove. He spotted an issue with the flue liner and recommended a contact to fix it then returned to finish the sweep. Excellent service all round happy to recommend.

Neil is a great professional - timely answer to messages, turned up when we agreed, and a genuinely nice guy. He swept and installed insulation in our open chimney, made zero mess and tidied up after himself, all at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

Neil did a wonderful job of cleaning and insulating my disused chimney after a minor disaster with the cover falling out due to the wind. He was not only very informative about what he was doing, but also very friendly and lovely to talk to.
